Austria's View on France
At first Austria did not particularly like France. The French revolution disrupted the organization of Europe, as well as Napoleon's invasions of land. Instead of concentrating on the future of Poland, Europe had to protect their country from Napoleon's rule. Napoleon extended his power and forced the German states to form the Confederation of the Rhine, which at the Congress of Vienna Austria, Prussia, and France were forced to divide. However just before the Congress of Vienna things were resolved for the most part. France was forced to, among other things, hand over certain Italian territories to Austria.
